A studio built around quiet, considered rooms.

Nili Rouz was founded in 2016 by Camille Vaux after a decade inside two of Europe's most private architectural practices. The studio was born from a single conviction: that a well-made room should feel older, quieter, and more patient than the moment it was built.
We work at the intersection of architecture and interiors — designing residences, apartments and small hospitality spaces across Europe. Every project is treated as a long conversation with the site, its light, and the person who will finally live inside it.
“Restraint is not the absence of expression — it is the discipline of choosing only what belongs.”
Material honesty
Stone, plaster, oak, brass, linen. Surfaces that age visibly and grow more themselves over time.
Architectural intent
Every room begins with a proportion or a threshold. Furniture arrives afterwards, as a response.
A slow tempo
We design a small number of projects each year, at the pace they need — not the pace the calendar prefers.
